Access Request Time
We measured the time required to gain database access and, thanks to a newly streamlined process, reduced the request time from 10 business days to a maximum of 48 hours.
As part of the Cornerstone UX team, my primary focus was designing a portal that made accessing data, generating reports, and making informed business decisions seamless and intuitive.
While I can't share all the details of my work, I can give you a glimpse into one of the most exciting challenges I tackled.
To create a one-stop shop for data access, where users could easily request and view data.
Our secondary goal was to reduce the number of requests and noise, which would improve security and reduce the time to approve data access.

I began by creating a user flow for the entire experience. This workflow consisted of two paths: one for new users and one for returning users.
I discussed the user flow with an engineer and a business stakeholder to get their feedback.

Based on user research, we found that our users wanted to know more about the process and how to make it as smooth as possible.
To address this, we added a tutorial on how to submit a request before the process even started.
